BAY VIEW HOTEL

Set on 10 acres in Osprey Fl and designed to be integrated with the waterfront environment and existing context, this Contemporary Boutique Hotel with sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico and Intercoastal canal is approx. 10 miles South of Downtown Sarasota. 

Our design aims to create a unique Boutique Hotel with a one of a kind West coast Florida vibe. Influenced by the “Old Florida Style” and new Contemporary Regional Precedence, the hotel seeks an architectural narrative that expresses the authentic local and environmental qualities that define our region. The intent is an architecture of unity, a marriage between the natural and the man made. A true expression and celebration of place while allowing nature to become our guide. 

The heart of the hotel is the full glass, transparent lobby which opens in all directions towards the surrounding natural context. The open and unimpeded ground floor allows access from the waterfront, vehicular dropoff and surrounding amenities, creating a free-flowing connection between the inner and exterior landscape, the natural breezes and the guests looking for that perfect Florida getaway. Upon entry, guests stand below the large, open two story lobby which boasts full size palm trees and vibrant tropical vegetation. The atmosphere allows for an immersive experience, creating a deeper connection to an authentic Florida environment. 

Traversing past the existing tiki bar and natural blueish green of the intercoastal, the hotel’s waterfront design aspires to create a laid back, beach like atmosphere for both hotel and restaurant guests. Visitors can discover an expansive embankment, encompassed by a garden of lush vegetation, a variety of lounge areas and various amenities allowing for countless special occasions. 

With over 120 rooms, the hotel boasts a roof top pool and terrace, providing the perfect all encompassing venue for weddings, corporate events or weekend getaways. Boating, kayaking and paddle boarding are easily accessible amenities to the hotel with direct access to the waterfront.
